Annie Wellborn is one of the most important living American Folk artists. Annie has painted thousands of paintings she refers to as Memory Paintings featuring scenes and subjects she remembers from her childhood and life in rural Georgia. Annie is also known for her paintings of angels on a variety of substrates such as fabric and papers from wallpaper swatch books.
Annie is featured in “Contemporary American Folk Art” by Chuck and Jean Rosenak. Annie’s work is widely collected and can be found in hundreds of private and public collections.
